One year old!

It's someone's birthday today!!

Yes, it's Rico's!! He's finally turning one today. Look how much he's grown!

From this little guy

To this big guy, who's already one!

His eyes may look huge, licks people with smelly fish breath and a lop-sided grin, has a silly wag, pounces on me when he's excited, not the perfect height, but that's just what makes him a Rico. And I love him all the same, although he might not be some champion or anything important, but he will be my stinky puppy forever and I love him. I hope he will always be the smelly puppy who brings me his stinky tug toys forever.

Happy one year old birthday, Rico, my best buddy and pal!!!

Happenings.

So many things have happened for the past one month!

Mommy registered me for a jumpers dogsport class, and I'm looking forward to becoming a hip agility dog like my Grandpa and Daddy!

But Mommy says I ain't got any stamina cause just after an hour I become like this!

Hey! Who said I looked like that! At least I still had energy to look at the camera!!! >:(

And just a week ago, one of my teeth flew out while playing tug with Mommy! *sob* My poor tooth!!!

That's all there is folks! Signing out now!

You and Me.

In this big universe called Earth,

there's only you and me.

We both look each other.

I don't need to tell you how much you mean to me, or call you my "baby".

You don't need to snuggle into my lap or lick my face.

Yet.

We both know, our existence is treasured, and that we'll be together forever, no matter what.

Am I a good owner?

I realized why I was so down recently. And that was because I realized I wasn't a good owner to Rico.

You know, when I was young, I thought keeping a dog meant loving it and it would just love you back like that.

But no, it meant so much more. After what I see from the other owners, they seem to all bring their dogs out to special places almost every week, while Rico is always stuck at home with me, keeping me company in some old dingy room while I study

Other dogs have so much fun while he's always at home because of one out of these three reasons 1. I don't have the transport 2. I don't have the money 3. I don't have the time

Other dogs have companions at home but Rico only has himself and he's always waiting for me to play tug with him, but I end up making him disappointed because I have to study for the exams.

And I always see dog owners competing in competitions with their dog and says they are both happy. Maybe that's what makes them happy- winning. But too bad I can't do that either, because I can't enter Rico into any contests.

I don't have anything to give him, yet he was always there for me.

I think I'm such an incompetent owner- Rico deserves a lot better than some lousy teen like me.
